WORK TO EMPOWER: EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS AND JOB-SEEKING TRAINING & ADVICE

Work to Empower.png

Through this 6-months project, SEEAC will support members of our migrant communities whose work and income has lost or reduced, have faced or been at risk of labour rights abuses during COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown by providing a series of training on employment rights and job-seeking and advisory session for those who have concerns over their rights as migrant workers. We will also produce some information materials in relevant languages. Our target group is particularly those who have the “No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF)” condition attached on their immigration statuses and those who have no access to public support for any other reasons.

Activities include a series of training and advisory sessions on employment rights and job-seeking and multilingual information dissemination.
